Why Getting in the Room Changes Everything (The Power of In-Person Events)

There's something I've said over and over again to the women I've had the privilege of building alongside.
Get in the room.
It sounds simple. Maybe even obvious. But most people seriously underestimate what happens when you actually show up — in person, in the same space as people who are building something bigger than themselves.
I didn't fully understand the power of in-person events until I started saying yes to them consistently.
And now? I can't imagine building this business any other way.
Why the Power of In-Person Events Is Different
We live in a world where everything is available online.
You can watch the training.
You can stream the conference replay.
You can follow along from your couch and feel like you didn't miss a thing.
But here's what you don't get from the replay: the energy in the room.
You don't get the goosebumps when someone on the stage tells a story that sounds exactly like yours. You don't get the conversation in the hallway that turns into a friendship that changes your business.
You don't get the moment where something just clicks in your belief — not because of what you learned, but because of what you felt standing in that room with hundreds of other people who are doing the same thing you are.
The power of in-person events isn't just about the content. It's about what happens to your belief when you're surrounded by possibility.
Proximity Changes Everything
When you're in the same room as people who are already where you want to be—people who think bigger, act bigger, and believe bigger—some of that starts to rub off on you.
Not because of what they say. Because of how it feels to be around it.
Your belief expands when you see what's possible up close.
And that belief? It's what carries you through the hard months when nothing seems to be working.
It's an Investment, Not an Expense
I know what some of you are thinking.
The travel. The ticket. The time away from home.
I get it. Those are real considerations, especially when you're building and things feel tight.
But here's how I've learned to look at it: events aren't an expense.
They're one of the highest-return investments you can make in your business.
The relationships built at events turn into partnerships, mentorships, and team members.
The belief you gain in the room is what carries you through the hard months when nothing seems to be working.
The momentum you leave with is often what leads to your next breakthrough.
Most people look back and say the event was the turning point.
Not because of what happened on the stage — but because of how they showed up differently after it.
You Don't Have to Have It All Figured Out
You don't have to be at a certain level to get in the room.
You don't have to have your business figured out. You don't have to feel like you've earned the right to be there.
That's the whole point of going.
Find the next event. Say yes before you feel ready. And watch what happens to your belief, your business, and the women you invite to come with you.
The power of in-person events is real.
The only way to feel it is to be there.
Love,
Breanna M.
