Following the Formula and Still Feeling Stuck

I did everything the way I was told I should.

I got the degree.

I landed the job I worked so hard for.

I started my advanced degree.

I kept climbing, believing the next step would finally bring the life I imagined.

And yet, something still felt off.

My husband and I would sit down and look at our goals, and instead of feeling excited, we felt defeated. We were doing everything “right,” but somehow we were barely staying afloat. Every dream felt just far enough out of reach that it was discouraging to even talk about.

That was a hard realization to sit with.

I had followed the formula I was promised would lead to fulfillment and stability. But the truth is, no one tells you that you can do everything right and still feel stuck. No one talks about how success on paper doesn’t always translate into peace, margin, or freedom.

And that’s when I knew something had to change.

I realized we needed an opportunity that truly rewarded the grit, hard work, and determination we were already giving. Not just financially, but in the way it supported the life we wanted to build. A life with more presence. More flexibility. More alignment with our values.

I won’t pretend that choosing a different path was easy.

There were doubts. Questions. Moments where it felt like no one else could see the vision I felt so deeply in my heart. It was lonely at times, standing firm in something that didn’t make sense to everyone else.

But I believed in it.

With conviction, I knew this wasn’t just another opportunity. I knew this was obedience. A door God was opening, even when I didn’t have every detail figured out. I trusted that this was the way He was providing for our family, even if it looked different than what I had planned.

That’s how Bravenly entered my life.

Not as a quick fix. Not as a shortcut. But as a calling.

After years in network marketing, I had every reason to walk away when my previous company shifted. I actually thought that might be what God was telling me to do. I slowed down. I prayed. I looked at other options. I didn’t rush the decision.

And then I found Bravenly.

What stood out wasn’t just the business model. It was the heart behind it. The integrity. The faith. The focus on people over pressure. The way leadership emphasized stewardship, service, and consistency instead of hype and urgency. It was different.

For the first time, I felt like I could build something without sacrificing my values.

This business became more than income. It became a way to serve women who felt just like I once did. Women who were doing everything right but still wondering if there was more. Women who wanted to be present mothers and ambitious leaders. Women who wanted to trust God with their next step, even when fear tried to creep in.

I learned that consistency compounds. That obedience matters more than speed. And that when you focus on serving people well, the rest truly does fall into place.

Leaving my dream job was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made. It was scary. Emotional. And deeply bittersweet. But choosing faith over fear changed everything.

This isn’t about selling a product or signing someone up. It’s about building a life that aligns with who God created you to be. It’s about stewarding the opportunities placed in front of you with integrity and gratitude.

This business isn’t mine. It’s God’s. And I’m simply doing my best to steward it well.

If you’ve ever followed the formula and still felt stuck, I want you to know you’re not alone. And sometimes, the path forward doesn’t look like doing more of the same. Sometimes, it looks like trusting God enough to say yes to something different.

If that resonates with you, I’d love to connect and hear your story or even tell you more about mine. 🤍

Love,

Breanna
